Joseph F. Welk age 48 of Mt. Prospect. Joe Received his MBA from Roosevelt University and B.S. from Northeastern Illinois University. He did research at Northwestern University and University of Chicago. He holds a Patent through Abbott Laboratories for a pierceable cap for the medical industry. Joe coached Green White Soccer for 15 years and was a Parishioner of St. Emily Parish, Mt. Prospect.
Beloved husband of Melissa B. Welk; loving father of Michelle, Kimberly, Ashley and Christopher; devoted son of Frederic and the late Mary Welk; dear brother of Sarah (Tim) Machaj, Jennifer (Jay) Juszko, John Welk, Matthew (Jennifer) Welk and Mary C. (Carlos) Esquivel; fond uncle of many nieces and nephews.
